Quieter showing for Privalov, which can be expected for his KHL debut. Didn't look out of place, which is a positive. Displayed instances of some higher-end offensive ability - namely going inside-out on a D during a rush play, and a couple good scoring chances that just didn't convert. Pace of play was not an issue at this level for him, which is a good sign given how young and big he is. Very strong in puck protection situations, can tell he's fairly developed physically already. Got mixed up once or twice in the DZ, but the effort in that part of the ice was present which is mostly what I am looking for at this juncture in the season. Overall, a positive viewing considering it was his first KHL game. The offense should start to pop a bit more as he adjusts to this level of play.
